Just how vital are roots to plants? In the Parable of the Sower in Matthew 13:6 Jesus describes a plant with no roots to the heart of an individual without deep, spiritual roots. Its fate? "And since they had no root, they withered away."

It's the same way with our faith. If we are not rooted in Christ, the fate of what is growing in our hearts will be spiritual death. The roots that climb across The Roots Room's ceiling remind us of just how important it is for us to be firmly planted in Christ.

"Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving." (Colossians 2:6-7)
